Spatiotemporal redundancy removal in immersive video coding

چکیده
In this paper, the authors describe two methods designed for reducing spatiotemporal redundancy of video within MPEG Immersive (MIV) encoder: patch occupation modification and cluster splitting. These allow optimizing important parameters immersive video: bitrate pixelrate. The method significantly decreases number active pixels texture depth produced by MIV encoder.
